Onze opdrachtgever produceert geavanceerde gaschromatografische analyse systemen voor de wereldwijde olie- en petrochemische industrie. Ze maken deel uit van een beursgenoteerde onderneming.
Beschrijving functie
Experience may be gained in creating programs to:
• operate large chemical processes (ex. Refinery),
• manage large mechanical processes (ex. Machine tools),
• manage chemical analysis instruments,
• manage mechanical properties instruments
Required Software experience includes at least 6 of the following:
• Microsoft Visual C# .NET Windows application programming
• Microsoft Visual C++ MFC Win32 programming
• Microsoft Visual Basic
• Database design and maintenance
• SQL programming
• Client/Server or distributed computing
• Creation of device drivers
• Creation of software module strategies and specifications
• Lab VIEW programming
• A working knowledge of Delphi
• Creating and maintaining software GUI interfaces
• Root Cause problem solving of complex issues
The job includes:
• Designing, creating and maintaining software (modules) that will be utilized in a wide range of analytical instruments to determine chemical composition and/or physical properties
• Design software in collaboration with analytical and electronic engineers
• Create and maintain software for Microsoft Windows platforms
• Candidate will spend some time in The US for training and product orientation
• Candidate will be required to take occasional business trip based on project requirements
